I have the new iPhone 5 being shipped to me currently from T-Mobile! Here’s the odd journey that got me to that statement… [this way you can just stop reading if you don't care how]
Yesterday
at the Costco Corporate Deli I wanted to withdraw cash to buy breakfast
after my workout; only form of payment accepted is cash. No funds
available! WTF? I knew I was close, but really? Figured out that
T-Mobile charged me twice for my monthly payment. Called this morning,
and spoke with Brian.
He
advised a glitch in the system has been generating these types of calls
but T-Mobile is all over it. I asked about overdraft fees because I got
zinged twice. He asked for how much, to which I replied $10 total. He
said we can skip all the procedures, reduce my next month’s bill by $10
but I still receive the refund of $89.73. I was chill with that.
Then he asked, “Can I review your monthly bill, rate plan and phone?”
“Go for it, hoss,” I replied.
Enter in dialogue that T-Mobile is no longer having contracts. That’s right! So when mine expires on 2/2/2014
they won’t re-sign. I explained my data usage decreased and/or isn’t a
ton anyways, that I lost my Galaxy S, and mainly use Apple products
(desktop, and iPod)
So we agreed on this:
Data
plan of 2.5GB (vs. 5GB), new phone, insurance all for the same price as
I pay monthly for 1) no new phone 2) extended warranty on a phone I
longer have 3) an outdated data plan.
This has been your C Note. 'los; out.
