Ok, so on Saturday, Cher and I plus her co-worker’s crew ran the Rugged Maniac 5K obstacle course. Since it was essentially a mud run, I warned Cher that no electronics allowed on the course. About half-way through the course, as we were sludging our way through muddy river portion, I looked over at her. She smiled but quipped, I could really use some music. My motivation and power come from my music. This is first experience with this, so I wanted to ensure she had a great time, and being who I am, I broke out into song. Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline to be exact. We trudged our way to the nearest obstacle, a military crawl in mud under barred wire.
